When can I collect the keys and move in?

Your Empire Property Co Manager will send your Lease Agreement & Condition Report electronically via Docusign. Once these are signed, you are welcome to collect the keys once the bond and rent in advance have been paid and the lease has commenced.

How can I pay my rent?

At Empire Property Co we have teamed up with PropertyMe. You can set up a recurring payment via your online banking which is FEE FREE! Please note, we do not accept cash/cheques in office – all rent monies must be paid electronically.

How much rent in advance do we need to pay?

You are required to pay 2 weeks rent in advance.

How much is the bond?

The bond is 4 weeks rent.

What do we do if repair or maintenance work is needed at the property?

Log in to your PropertyMe portal and click ‘Request Maintenance’ to lodge your repair/maintenance request; please ensure you include a description & photos of the repair/maintenance required. An Empire Property Co team member will get back to you as soon as possible!

All requests for maintenance are required to be submitted via the portal on your PropertyMe App. For emergency repair requests after business hours please refer to your lease for instructions and emergency contact details – or use the preferred tradespeople here. Don’t forget to let us know through your PropertyMe portal.

How do I log into my Landlord/Tenant portal?

Can I hang pictures on the walls?

You must get written permission from the landlord if you wish to hang any pictures on the walls or make any improvements.

How much notice do I need to give to vacate?

  • 14 days notice prior to the end of the lease and, or
  • 21 days if the lease has expired.
